Detailed Description From Employer:

We’re reinventing payments. In less than four years, Dojo disrupted the market to become the largest and most loved acquirer in the UK. Our payments infrastructure, purpose-built for in-person commerce, is game changing. Now, over 150,000 customers across four countries choose to transact billions with us every year. But we’re just getting started. Our people are the driving force behind our success. They are our greatest investment and our ultimate competitive advantage. We hire exceptional people and give them the autonomy, trust, and ownership to thrive. The results take care of themselves.

The role… This role is a 12-month fixed-term contract, part of the Strategic Finance team, a high-performing, specialised group working directly with the senior management team and execs. As we enter our next phase of rapid growth and prepare for international and product expansion, it is crucial that our revenue planning is robust, business-driven, and clearly tells the story of where the company is heading. You will own the revenue planning process down to gross margin, partnering closely with the Commercial organisation and Business Analytics to ensure forecasts are data-driven, transparent, and actionable. The role sits at the heart of Finance and Commercial, helping the business understand growth levers while ensuring Finance has a clear line of sight on performance, variances, and drivers.

This is a perfect role for someone who combines strong technical modelling skills with the ability to partner with senior stakeholders and tell a compelling story through numbers. You’ll also be the dedicated Finance partner to the Enterprise organisation, our largest growth vector, helping to understand key business drivers such as pipeline, conversion, and pricing. With high levels of autonomy and regular exposure to executives and founders, this is a unique opportunity to have a meaningful impact on the trajectory of the business.

What You Will Do…

  • Own the revenue planning model and forecasting process, ensuring inputs are business-owned, robust, and provide actionable insight into growth drivers.
  • Partner with the Commercial organisation to link business performance to financial outcomes and ensure forecast variances are well understood.
  • Act as the Finance business partner to the Enterprise organisation, working with leaders to analyse and interpret drivers across pipeline, conversion, pricing, and growth.
  • Translate complex data and financial performance into simple, compelling stories for senior stakeholders, including executives and founders.
  • Collaborate with the Business Analytics team and wider Revenue organisation to ensure data quality, integrity, and usability across revenue and enterprise performance metrics.
  • Support the FP&A and Strategic Finance teams with financial models, analysis, and insights that inform investment strategy, capital allocation, and investor discussions.

What You Will Bring..

  • 5–8 years’ experience in finance, strategy, or analytics, ideally within a high-growth tech or scale-up environment.
  • Demonstrable experience in financial modelling, forecasting, and data analysis, with a deep understanding of financial statements and how they are linked.
  • Experience in commercial finance or business partnering, ideally within a high-growth or tech business.
  • Ability to quickly build an understanding of the business and represent performance externally to investors when required.
  • Strong storytelling and communication skills, able to cut through complexity and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Comfortable operating with minimal direction in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills are essential; familiarity with Salesforce and Looker a plus; SQL a bonus.
  • Nice to have: professional qualification (ACA/CFA/MBA or equivalent).
