The Opportunity: We are excited to recruiting for a Strategic Data Business Partner to join at our Bristol head office on an initial 12-month fixed term contract basis The Strategic Data Business Partner plays a critical role in unlocking the business value of data across Triodos Bank UK. This is a highly visible, senior-facing role that connects strategic objectives with data capability. Acting as the go between business and data, this role ensures that the UK’s data priorities are clearly defined, well-governed, and effectively delivered through collaboration with internal teams and Triodos Group. It’s about driving outcomes that influence decision-making, enable innovation, and support the Bank’s mission. Align UK and Group-wide data efforts to avoid duplication, maximise resources, and ensure direction is well communicated Maintain a clear view of how data is contributing to business outcomes, beyond technical delivery.
  • Data Product Oversight: Prioritise a portfolio of UK data initiatives based on value, feasibility, and strategic fit. Ensure high-quality business requirements are captured and governed, with a focus on outcome not output. Coordinate delivery across UK and Group resources, maintaining accountability without direct line management.
  • Change Management and Enablement: Help the organisation shift from reactive reporting to forward-looking, insight-led decision making. Embed data literacy, governance, and ownership into change processes, ensuring sustainability. Act as a critical friend to both business and data teams - offering challenge, clarity and coordination.
  • Other: Comply with all regulatory obligations and internal governance to help ensure ethical behaviour, working to deliver good customer outcomes and avoiding foreseeable harm in line with Triodos’ practice of putting customers at the heart of what we do.

What We Offer In return for your hard work and expertise, you will receive a competitive full time equivalent salary of between £65,000 and £75,000 depending on experience, plus access to our extensive benefits package, where most of our benefits are non-contributory.
