Do you have deep expertise and networks in the UK philanthropy sector and want to work with a successful INGO which is led from the Global South? BRAC, one of the world’s leading development organisations, is looking for a Senior Consultant to develop a three-year engagement strategy focused on UHNWIs in the UK and to provide ongoing strategic support to ensure effective implementation. BRAC is one of the global leaders in creating opportunities for people living in extreme poverty to realise their potential. With the operational presence in 16 countries across Asia and Africa, BRAC’s mission is to empower people and communities in situations of poverty, illiteracy, disease, and social injustice. It focuses on creating opportunities for sustainable development by implementing solutions that are community-led, scalable, and impactful. BRAC works across various sectors, including education, healthcare, financial inclusion, social enterprises, and climate resilience, with a strong emphasis on women’s empowerment and social justice. In Europe, BRAC aims to build a sustainable pipeline of high-value donations from Ultra High Net Worth Individuals (UHNWIs) to support its programmes. A previous assessment of the philanthropic landscape in the UK and Europe identified challenges in accessing the saturated public fundraising market. However, there remains significant potential to engage UHNWIs through targeted approaches.
