Detailed Description From Employer:

We are proud to be partnering with a leading multi-disciplinary construction consultancy who offer a comprehensive range of services to the housing sector. They are looking to appoint Stock Condition Surveyors on a 2 month temporary contract with the possibility for an extension. This will be a full-time position with opportunities in Manchester. The rates are £21 per flat, £24 per house, £30 per block & £3 extra if RdSAP is recorded within the survey.

The ideal candidate will have experience conducting stock condition surveys on social housing units and have a full UK driving license.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Carrying out stock condition surveys on Social Housing units
  • Ensuring buildings are designed and constructed so that there are appropriate provisions for the early warning of fire, and appropriate means of escape in case of fire from the building to a place of safety
  • Knowledge of RdSAP in order to fill out a small number of questions in each of the surveys
  • Liaising with and engaging with residents in regards to work carried out
  • Ensuring the required surveys per day based on relevant targets

  • Experience within a social housing environment
