Detailed Description From Employer:

Our client, based in London are currently recruiting for Stock Condition Surveyors on a 4–6 month temporary contract due to start in June. Our client is an award winning, multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy, delivering projects worldwide. The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The rates are: £32 LTD per survey for Houses/Blocks £22 LTD per survey for Flats

The ideal candidate will have a Higher National Certificate (HNC) in a construction-related field, a NVQ Level 4 in a construction-based course or the first year of a BSc degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Conducting stock condition surveys on social housing units to ensure buildings are designed and constructed appropriately
  • Established condition, age, repairs and remaining life of building components & also energy characteristics and legislative compliance
  • Recording all information and data on electronic handheld devices
  • Liaising and engaging with residents in regards to the work being carried out
  • Working in accordance with changing legislations, as well as H&S policies and procedures

Experience required:

  • Stock Condition Surveying experience for social housing properties
  • Experience booking in appointments to conduct surveys
  • HNC, NVQ Level 4 or a degree in a construction related field

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
