Key Responsibilities:
- Manufacture sub-assemblies using MIG welding to support the main assembly bays.
- Produce main assemblies by MIG welding up to the paint stage.
- Sand and grind components or assemblies to remove splatter and ensure optimal fit.
- Assemble all components using power and hand tools.
- Ensure sound weld joints and a good cosmetic finish.
- Monitor all welding processes to prevent shrinkage and distortion.
- Perform any other reasonable duties as required.
Key Skills:
- Minimum of 1 year of MIG welding experience.
- Ability to lift steel components and stand for long periods while manual MIG welding.
- Proficient in interpreting 3rd angle projection engineering drawings.
- Must pass a welding assessment as part of the interview process.
- Experience with balconies and balustrades is a plus.
- Valid driver's license with no more than 3 points.
