Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare statutory accounts under FRS 101/102 for UK subsidiaries, along with supporting working papers
- Collaborate with Group Secretariat, Group Tax, and wider finance teams to deliver accurate and timely financial statements
- Support the preparation of central documents required for statutory disclosures and audit purposes
- Liaise with external auditors to ensure audits are carried out efficiently and effectively
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the statutory reporting process and related controls
Key Skills:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
- Statutory Account preparation experience
- Experience of the preparation of financial documents under IFRS and UK Accounting standards including FRS 101
- Ability to analyse information and understand financial accounting implications for statutory accounts
- Strong influencing skills with the ability to create and sustain strong relationships across varying stakeholders
- Commercially astute with an inquisitive nature and desire to understand drivers behind numbers and reports
- Ability to work independently and to tight and evolving deadlines
- High quality analytical and problem solving skills

The role.. We're looking for an experienced and detail-driven Statutory Reporting Accountant to join ITV on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a great opportunity to be part of one of the UK’s most iconic media companies, contributing to the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting. Sitting within the Global Statutory Reporting team and reporting to the Global Statutory Reporting Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality UK subsidiary financial statements. You'll work closely with a wide range of stakeholders including the Controllership, Group Reporting and Consolidation teams, as well as colleagues across Group Tax, Group Secretariat, and external auditors. This role offers a great blend of technical accounting, collaboration, and process improvement in a fast-paced and supportive environment.
Some of your key day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Prepare statutory accounts under FRS 101/102 for UK subsidiaries, along with supporting working papers

Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
- Must have Statutory Account preparation experience
- Experience of the preparation of financial documents under IFRS and UK Accounting standards including FRS 101 (preferably using OneSource accounts preparation software but not essential)
- Ability to analyse information and understand financial accounting implications for statutory accounts
