Summary: We're seeking a Staff Engineer for a 6-month contract with an Australian SaaS company based in Melbourne. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in application development on complex systems hosted on AWS and a passion for leading and mentoring other engineers. This role involves working with modern web technologies and contributing to scalable solutions. The position offers a collaborative and agile work environment with a focus on best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and mentor other engineers.
- Develop applications using web technologies, languages, and frameworks such as Typescript, NodeJS, and React.
- Build and operate scalable solutions in AWS environments.
- Work on high-performance APIs.
- Implement event-driven design or distributed systems.
- Develop in a CI/CD environment.
