Key Responsibilities:
- Issue permits under Safe Systems of Work (SSoW) to nominated personnel under set procedures.
- Support HSE related to mechanical construction activities.
- Coordinate all work activities in daily meetings with mechanical supervisors.
Key Skills:
- IOSH Managing Safely or working towards a NEBOSH General certificate.
- Broad knowledge of engineering practices.
- Previous SSOW coordinator/control of work experience.
- Good working knowledge of process operations and SSOW procedures.
- Ability to maintain accurate, concise, legible records in the SSOW office.
- Knowledge of mechanical & electrical isolation processes and procedures.
- Previous experience working in a COMAH site environment.
- CDM compliance knowledge.
- Self-motivated with demonstrable levels of drive, energy, and resilience.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of personnel.
