Summary: The SSH Technical Solution Designer role in Sheffield involves designing and implementing secure SSH key management solutions for a leading financial services organization. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable and secure SSH key management solutions across on-prem and cloud environments.
  • Drive SSH key discovery, rotation, remediation, and governance activities.
  • Lead cryptographic risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Work closely with engineering and operations teams on secure automation and reconfiguration of privileged access.
  • Define secure machine-to-machine and human-to-machine access controls within IAM and PAM frameworks.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.
  • Support the integration of Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) for secure key storage and cryptographic operations.
  • Contribute to planning and readiness for Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) and quantum-resistant encryption approaches.
  • Ensure alignment with FIPS 140-2 / 140-3 cryptographic module standards.
