Summary: The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) role focuses on enhancing the operations, design, and development of a public cloud offering within a global financial services organization. The position requires expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, and Python, along with a strong emphasis on implementing SRE practices and driving automation. This is a 7-month contract based in London, aimed at improving technical capabilities and client services. Candidates with prior SRE experience and knowledge of SLO/SLA/SLI are particularly encouraged to apply.

  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
  • Previous SRE experience, including knowledge of SLO/SLA/SLI and error budgets.

Site Reliability Engineer - AWS, Kubernetes, Python, Terraform 7-Month Contract, London Up to £500/day PAYE Global financial services organisation is looking for as an SRE Engineer on a 7-month contract basis, you play an important role in the operations, design and development of the modern public cloud offering. You will bring your past experience to a talented group to further evolve the technical capabilities of our organization, drive improvements by implementing key SRE practices, drive automation and unlock new capabilities for the clients.

Skills and experience required:

  • Experience working with AWS
  • Solid Python scripting
  • Strong Kubernetes
  • Good understanding of development tools: source code control software, automated build, automated testing and JIRA.
  • Understanding of infrastructure as a code concept is desirable i.e. Terraform
  • Experience with Relational and non Relational Databases
  • Previous SRE experience including knowledge about SLO/SLA/SLI and error budgets, is advantageous
