Summary: The role of Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) is a 12-month contract position based in Dublin, Ireland, focused on enhancing the reliability and performance of large-scale data delivery and analytics platforms. Key Responsibilities:
- Build, maintain, and optimise CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation using Ansible, Jenkins, Bitbucket, and GitHub
- Improve system reliability, monitoring, performance, and deployment processes across complex production environments
- Investigate and resolve production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and drive continuous service improvements
- Collaborate with development, product, and operations teams to implement DevOps and SRE best practices
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to automation, monitoring, and operational excellence initiatives
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Production Support Engineer within large-scale enterprise environments
- Strong hands-on experience with Ansible, Jenkins, Bitbucket/GitHub, Unix/Linux, Shell Scripting, Python, and SQL
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, and OpenTelemetry (OTel)
- Solid networking knowledge and experience supporting CI/CD pipelines, automation, and production environments
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage incidents independently and collaborate across global teams
