Key Responsibilities:

Overview: Seeking a Sr SW Test Engineer, with experience testing web applications, lower-level Linux platforms, communication protocols, and hardware integration. This resource will support the implementation and evolution of a new wireless product and its associated web-based software. This role is critical in helping define and execute a sustainable testing strategy that ensures seamless integration across customer networks and internal systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead testing efforts for the first implementation of a wireless/web-based product.
- Identify and resolve issues, improve visibility into system performance, and refine testing approaches.
- Design and execute regression, integration, and end-to-end testing strategies across web front-end, middleware, and customer network environments.
- Anticipate and mitigate risks associated with upcoming infrastructure changes and evolving system architecture.
- Analyze system requirements and ensure compatibility with Microsoft-based environments.

Technical Environment:
- Web application: Angular, .Net, SQL / Azure. Protocols: TCP/IP, Ethernet, smartmesh/wireless shark
- Application will live on a gateway computer and will be collecting data from a series of sensors, with hardware that can speak to two different networks (the customers network, and internal clients network).
- Testing Focus Areas: Regression, integration, scripting, test design, automation (future roadmap)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in test for web-based applications, middleware, and hardware integration/ communication
- Strong understanding of communication protocols (wired and wireless) such as: TCP/IP, Ethernet, smartmesh/ wireless shark
- Familiarity with scripting and SW test automation tools
