Summary: The role of Sr Business Analyst at Convene Inc. involves acting as a key liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team, managing the project lifecycle from discovery to delivery. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead workshops, stakeholder interviews, and data analysis to gather business and technical requirements.
- Produce high-quality deliverables: As Is/To Be process maps, business requirement specs, epics, features, and user stories with detailed acceptance criteria.
- Manage work items in Azure Boards creating and linking features, epics, PBIs, and tasks.
- Maintain traceability and change history using DevOps workflows and CI/CD processes.
- Understand and translate Dynamics 365 modules (CRM, F&O, CE, etc.) into business functionality.
- Support configuration decisions, integrations, data migration, and identify when customizations are needed.
- Participate in agile ceremonies: sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, and retrospectives.
- Define UAT strategy, develop test cases, guide end-users through testing, and capture feedback.
- Assist in change initiatives and communication plans supporting successful adoption.
- Develop training resources, run sessions, and support transition to business-as-usual.
- Act as a trusted advisor present analysis, progress, risks to various audiences.
- Maintain alignment across enterprise architecture, DevOps pipelines, and operational policies.
Key Skills:
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, including creating work items and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- 2-5+ years in Dynamics 365 CRM and/or F&O implementations, with understanding of modules.
- Familiarity with BPMN, Visio; practical use of tools such as Miro/Figma for wireframes.
- Experience in agile environments SAFe, Scrum; ability to write structured user stories.
- Lead the end-to-end UAT process including test planning, execution, issue triaging, and sign-off.
- Excellent written/oral communication; ability to engage across all organizational levels.

Role Overview

- Dynamics 365 2-5+ years in D365 CRM and/or F&O implementations, with understanding of modules (Sales, Service, Finance, Supply Chain). Certifications are a plus.
- Requirements & Process Modelling Familiarity with methodologies: BPMN, Visio; practical use of tools such as Miro/Figma for wireframes.
- Agile & Scrum Experience in agile environments SAFe, Scrum; ability to write structured user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Testing & UAT Lead the end-to-end UAT process including test planning, execution, issue triaging, and sign-off.
