Summary: The SQL Developer role involves designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining database systems while optimizing SQL queries to ensure data integrity and security. Key Responsibilities:

Role Description:
As an SQL Developer, can design, develop, implement, and maintain database systems, creating and optimizing SQL queries and ensuring data integrity and security. Work with various SQL database systems, including MS SQL and T-SQL, to build, manage, and enhance database solutions. Collaborate with other developers and stakeholders to integrate database solutions into applications and meet business requirements.
As a WebFOCUS developer, you can create and maintain reporting, dashboarding, and Business Intelligence (BI) applications using the WebFOCUS platform. Responsible for developing reports, analysing data, designing metadata, and managing security within the WebFOCUS environment. Work closely with business users to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
SQL Developer:
Database Design and Development: Designing database structures, tables, views, stored procedures, and functions
SQL Querying: Writing and optimizing SQL queries for data manipulation and retrieval.
Database Maintenance: Ensuring database stability, reliability, and performance.
Data Integrity and Security: Implementing measures to protect data from unauthorized access and ensuring data accuracy.

WebFOCUS developer:
Developing WebFOCUS reports: Creating and modifying reports based on user specifications, including advanced reports with drill-downs.
Analyzing and designing WebFOCUS metadata: understanding and structuring data for reporting purposes.
Building and managing WebFOCUS metadata: Creating and maintaining data definitions and mappings within WebFOCUS. Designing WebFOCUS security and sign-ons: Implementing security measures and user access controls.
Data analysis and troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving data discrepancies and report errors.
