Summary: The SQL Developer will play a crucial role in the implementation and optimization of a new Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system within the Trust. This position involves collaboration with various teams to ensure effective data integration and reporting throughout the EPR rollout. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SQL-based data solutions that enhance clinical workflows and system performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects to support the EPR system.
- Support data migration, transformation, and validation activities as part of the EPR implementation programme.
- Work with integration teams to ensure data flows correctly between the EPR and other Trust systems.
- Develop and optimise database structures to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Produce data extracts, reports, and dashboards for operational and clinical stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data issues during testing, go-live, and post-implementation phases.
- Collaborate with project managers, analysts, and suppliers to deliver key milestones within the implementation programme.
- Ensure compliance with NHS data governance, security, and information standards.
