Summary: The SQL Developer role is a contract position based in Birmingham, focusing on the development and delivery of Management Information (MI) and operational reporting from a new mortgage origination platform. The position requires expertise in Microsoft Stack and SQL Server Development, with an emphasis on data warehouse enhancements and operational reporting. Additional skills in Power BI, Python, and understanding mortgage application processes are beneficial but not mandatory. The role supports hybrid working arrangements and is classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development and delivery of MI and operational reporting from a new mortgage origination platform.
- Enhance and develop data warehouse solutions.
- Utilize SQL Server for MI and operational reporting.
- Support data automation and integration using Python.
- Develop Power BI dashboards as needed.
- Understand and apply knowledge of mortgage application processes.
- Utilize DevOps and GIT in development processes.
Key Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Stack and SQL Server Development.
- Experience with MI and operational reporting.
- Knowledge of data warehouse development and enhancements.
- Familiarity with Power BI dashboards (preferred but not essential).
- Python development skills for data automation and integration.
- Understanding of mortgage application processes.
- Experience with DevOps and GIT.
Salary (Rate): £450/day
