Summary: Urgent requirement for a Contract SQL Developer to design, develop, and optimize SQL-based Data Warehouse and Master Data Management (MDM) solutions. The role involves building and maintaining high-quality SQL objects and ensuring robust and efficient data pipelines. This is a 6-month contract position offering hybrid working arrangements based in Bradford. The role is classified as outside IR35 with a competitive daily rate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize SQL-based Data Warehouse and Master Data Management (MDM) solutions.
- Build and maintain high-quality SQL objects.
- Ensure robust and efficient data pipelines.
Key Skills:
- Advanced SQL Server development (stored procedures, query optimisation, indexing strategies, tuning techniques).
- Strong understanding of data warehouse principles and dimensional modelling.
- Experience working with MDM data structures and concepts.
- Knowledge of ETL tools (Alteryx preferred) for data preparation, integration, and automation.
- Experience with reporting tools such as Tableau.
- Ability to design efficient data models to support analytical and reporting workloads.
