• Understand what makes sport blogs drive search traffic at key search periods.
• Manage live sport blogs and liaise with key homepage editors.
• Report on top SEO keywords driving traffic each morning.
• Make recommendations for relevant keywords to target on articles and blogs.
• Pre-plan for future articles and events by conducting keyword research.
• Monitor trending data for newsroom suggestions and pass to editorial desks.
• Optimise top pages for relevant keywords and ensure correct tagging.
• Edit and complete metadata on topics and articles.
• Work across a rolling rota, including nights and weekends, to cover major sporting events.
