Key Responsibilities:

- Produce high-quality reports written in accessible, child- and family-friendly language, demonstrating sound clinical reasoning.
- Confidently deliver training and advice to education staff and other professionals to support inclusive practice.
- Work collaboratively to support children with speech, language, and communication needs (SLCN) within an SEN framework.
Key Skills:
- Recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent).
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Registered member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT).
- Experience working as a Speech and Language Therapist (or student SLT) in education settings.
- Proven experience supporting children with SLCN at both primary and secondary school level.
- Strong knowledge of SEND and national guidance supporting schools.
- Experience using a range of intervention approaches for school-aged children.
- Knowledge and practical experience of assessment methods appropriate for this age group.
