Summary: This temporary position for a Specialty Doctor in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust is designed to cover a training leave. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general sessions in obstetrics and gynaecology to maintain skills.
- Contribute to the senior registrar on-call rota for emergency obstetrics and gynaecology.
- Supervise and train junior registrars during out-of-hours shifts.
- Engage in multicentre research trials with support from dedicated research staff.
- Develop expertise in areas of interest within obstetrics and gynaecology.
Key Skills:
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practice.
- MRCOG or equivalent qualifications.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a registrar in obstetrics and gynaecology.
- Ability to manage emergency obstetric deliveries with indirect clinical supervision.
