Specialist SEN Tutor Opportunity - 1:1, Ilfracombe

Summary: The SEND Specialist Tutor role involves providing tailored 1:1 tuition to young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in Ilfracombe who are unable to access mainstream education. The position requires creating and delivering personalized lesson plans to help re-engage students in their learning and support their educational development. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver bespoke 1:1 tuition packages to students with SEND.

• Monitor pupil progression and submit weekly reports to Prospero Teaching.
• Work collaboratively with families to accommodate convenient scheduling.

Key Skills:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience in UK classroom teaching.
• Experience working with young people with ASD or ADHD.
• Creativity, patience, and adaptability in teaching methods.
• Ability to manage challenging behavior and engage disengaged pupils.
