Summary: This role is for a Band 6 Specialist Dietitian focused on supporting the Oncology Dietetic Teams at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board for a fixed-term period of 6 months. The position involves developing and implementing best practices in dietetic care while collaborating with a multi-agency oncology team. The successful candidate will also be part of a larger team of dietitians, contributing to clinical placements and quality improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

Job Overview THIS POST IS FIXED TERM/SECONDMENT FOR 6 MONTHS DUE TO SECONDMENT COVER. Please note this is a temporary, 6 month contract. If you are interested in applying for the secondment position, you must obtain permission from your current line manager prior to applying for this post. A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Specialist Dietitian to work with the Oncology Dietetic Teams in the Central area of BCUHB. The Dietitian will support the Team in the development, implementation, delivery and evaluation of best practice in relation to dietetic care, working as an integral member of, and in partnership with the multi-agency oncology team. You will also remain a key member of the dietetic team, joining an enthusiastic and friendly team of over 80 dietitians across the Health Board, delivering services in acute and primary care, and public health. We deliver clinical placements for students, and have secretarial and assistant support.

Main duties of the job Quality improvement initiatives are welcomed in the department. You would be encouraged and supported in considering improved and more effective ways of working. You will be joining an enthusiastic and friendly team of 58 dietitians. We deliver clinical placements for students, have secretarial and assistant support and are part of a wider team of dietitians working across the three Areas of Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
