Summary: Mood Media is looking for a Sourcing & Logistics Specialist who will manage supplier relationships, purchasing, and logistics operations, particularly in a European context. The role requires high proficiency in English and Dutch, along with responsibilities that include developing regional strategies and supporting international projects. The specialist will also focus on achieving cost savings and ensuring timely supplier delivery performance. This position is integral to the European Sourcing organization and involves regular reporting on savings and supplier performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be a focal point for assigned vendors for purchasing, logistics, and warehouse operations.
  • Assist in developing regional strategy to support internal clients.
  • Support the Sourcing & Logistics management in international projects.
  • Drive supplier delivery performance of 98% on-time delivery or better.
  • Create all assigned purchase orders and track return orders.
  • Monitor progress of critical orders and achieve cost savings/productivity.
  • Collect and report the monthly European savings.
  • Be the purchasing point of contact for all issues with assigned suppliers.
  • Submit required information for new SKU setup by country.
  • Report on a weekly basis to the Sourcing Director.

Key Skills:

  • Graduate degree (Master’s, Doctorate, etc.) or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in purchasing, sourcing, or procurement.
  • Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) certification preferred.
  • High proficiency in English and Dutch, both written and spoken.
  • Experience in procurement, inventory, and logistics data analysis.
  • Strong supplier management skills and performance review experience.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and be solution-oriented.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize work.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and understanding of Google Suite.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, etc.
