Summary: The Solutions Engineer role involves collaborating with various teams to create impactful integrations for a leading financial technology platform. The position requires technical expertise to lead discussions, build prototypes, and analyze integration performance. The engineer will also serve as a trusted advisor to partners and contribute to product direction. This is a contract position based in London with a focus on enhancing user success through innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams in business development, product, engineering, partnerships, and customer experience.
  • Lead technical conversations with partners and perform audits of integrations.
  • Co-create solutions that enhance the broader ecosystem for mutual growth.
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to partners, leading discussions and code-jam sessions.
  • Architect and build prototypes, sample apps, or POCs that address real customer needs.
  • Analyze integration performance and provide actionable feedback.
  • Host webinars, create technical documentation, contribute to SDKs, and support video tutorials.
  • Actively influence product direction by representing the voice of partners and developers.

Key Skills:

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years developing software or mobile/web apps, especially in finance, SaaS, or SMB-focused solutions.
  • Expertise in one or more of: JavaScript, Java, .NET, PHP, Python, Node.js, Ruby on Rails.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML, etc.).
  • Experience working with accounting software is a strong plus.
  • Excellent communicator able to explain technical topics to a variety of audiences.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a genuine passion for solving real-world problems.
