Summary: We are looking for a Solutions Architect to lead the technical design and implementation of an Electronic Patient Record (EPR) digital transformation within the NHS. The role requires expertise in Oracle ERP integration and collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with NHS digital standards. The position is hybrid, with occasional onsite work in Richmond/Kingston, and is outside IR35. The contract is set for a duration of 2 months starting from 9th March.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own solution architecture for defined changes within the EPR transformation programme
- Translate BA and User Researcher outputs into clear, implementable technical designs
- Design and assure solutions integrating with Oracle ERP and core NHS systems
- Ensure alignment with NHS digital standards, security, and data governance
- Produce architecture artefacts (HLDs, LLDs, integration and data flow diagrams)
- Support delivery teams through implementation, managing risks and dependencies
- Provide technical assurance and architectural oversight in a live clinical environment
Key Skills:
- Proven Solutions Architect experience on large-scale NHS digital programmes
- Strong experience with Oracle ERP (including integrations)
- Experience working on or alongside EPR implementations
- Knowledge of NHS architecture standards and integration patterns
- Comfortable working from pre-defined requirements rather than gathering them
- Excellent stakeholder management and documentation skills

You will translate validated business and user needs into secure, scalable, and compliant solution designs, working across clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders.
