Summary: As a Solution Architect at iXceed Solutions, you will be instrumental in defining the technical vision for enterprise-grade applications, focusing on .NET and Azure technologies. Your role will involve designing robust software architectures, leading system integration initiatives, and mentoring development teams. This position is a fixed-term contract based in Edinburgh, UK, with a hybrid working arrangement. You will be expected to stay ahead of emerging tech trends while ensuring high performance and scalability across platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect, design, and build cutting-edge solutions using .NET and Microsoft Azure.
  • Lead system integration initiatives through APIs, middleware, and microservices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex business needs into technical excellence.
  • Embed performance, scalability, and security into every solution you craft.
  • Mentor and guide development teams, championing best practices and clean code.
  • Review code and designs to maintain the highest quality standards.
  • Drive the full SDLC from ideation through to deployment.
  • Stay ahead of emerging tech trends—especially in cloud, mobile, and integration technologies.

Key Skills:

  • 15+ years of total IT experience with recent years in solution architecture.
  • Expert-level proficiency in .NET (C#) and real-world experience designing enterprise applications.
  • Deep, hands-on Azure experience, including Azure App Services, Functions, DevOps, and more.
  • Skilled in creating and integrating APIs (REST/GraphQL) and middleware technologies.
  • Proven track record with architectural patterns—microservices, serverless, event-driven architecture.
  • Solid foundation in database architecture (SQL & NoSQL).
  • Experience with React Native is a big plus!
  • Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud deployment strategies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex challenges.
  • Strong communication skills—able to simplify and explain technical concepts clearly.
