Summary: The Solutions Architect role at a Tier Bank in Canary Wharf involves designing and improving architectural standards for software products, with a focus on cloud migration and integration of AI technologies. Key Responsibilities:
- Create and improve architectural standards for on premise and azure cloud software products, develop cloud migration procedures and guidelines.
- Assist in cloud migration projects, assess readiness and dependencies, optimize for the Cloud.
- Create and review blueprints for software products, provide guidance on improving architecture.
- Coding mission critical parts and performing code reviews.
- Assist on integrating AI technologies to improve existing systems.
- Ensure that applications are in line with compliance and regulatory standards and conduct regular security assessments of these applications.
- Technical writing (creating related documentation)
- Assist developers with any architecture related issues and queries.
Key Skills:
- In depth understanding of Object Orientated programming concepts as well as of the full Software Development Life Cycle.
- Good understanding of MS .NET Framework environments.
- Knowledge and experience of Agile methodology.
- Knowledge of Cloud and AI technologies that can be adopted into the workplace.
- Extensive experience working as a software and solutions architect.
- Experience in designing of high-level concepts for software solutions.
