Summary: The Solutions Architect role involves understanding client enterprise landscapes and identifying integration opportunities with the Ignition platform. The position requires collaboration with technical stakeholders to develop and agree on suitable design patterns, leading the technical design process, and supporting engineering teams in feature development. Additionally, the role includes engaging with business stakeholders to ensure broader requirements are considered in technical designs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand the client’s enterprise landscape and identify potential touchpoints with the Ignition platform.
- Engage with a range of technical client stakeholders to communicate the integration patterns supported by the platform.
- Work with clients and internal teams to agree on suitable patterns to support the design.
- Lead the development of the technical design, including high-level designs and detailed specifications.
- Work closely with the engineering team to support the development of new features required to meet client requirements.
- Interact closely with business stakeholders to understand broader requirements impacting technical designs.
- Engage with senior client stakeholders to present high-level solutions discussed with client technical teams.
Key Skills:
- 5+ years of development experience using C# .net framework, WebAPI, and MSSQL.
- 5+ years of experience developing Web UI applications.
- Experience with common AWS technologies.
- Experience with the Atlassian toolset including Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
- Experience with Docker Containers.
- Extensive experience in SOA and development of 3rd party integrations.
- Extensive knowledge of software design patterns and best practices in software development.
- Experience of continuous delivery practices such as CI, automated testing, and continuous deployment.
- Experience of common web and application architectures and development methodologies including Agile SCRUM.
- Experience in the Financial Advice business domain is highly desirable.
