Summary: The role of Oracle Fusion Financials Solution Architect involves leveraging extensive experience in Oracle Applications, particularly Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials, to lead implementations and support clients. The position requires strong functional expertise across core financial modules and the ability to design migration strategies and transformation roadmaps. The architect will also be responsible for creating functional documentation and managing Oracle Service Requests. This role is based in Bristol with an on-site requirement of 2-3 days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead discovery sessions and define transformation roadmaps for clients.
- Deliver or support Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud implementations.
- Design migration strategies and manage data migration from legacy systems.
- Create functional documentation including test cases and training materials.
- Raise and manage Oracle Service Requests for product issues.
- Support global clients across multiple geographies and business units.
- Convert business requirements into effective Oracle solutions.
Key Skills:
- Extensive experience in Oracle Applications (10+ years).
- Minimum 5 years working with Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.
- Strong functional expertise in core Financials modules (AP, AR, GL, CM, FA, Tax).

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Extensive experience in Oracle Applications (10+ years), including a minimum of 5 years working with Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials
- Strong functional expertise across core Financials modules such as Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Cash Management (CM), Fixed Assets (FA), and Tax
- Proven track record of delivering or supporting at least three Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud implementations
- Hands-on experience (minimum 3 years) with Accounting Hub Cloud Service (AHCS) and/or Accounting Foundation Cloud Service (AFCS) in implementation or support roles
- Ability to lead discovery sessions, define transformation roadmaps, and design migration strategies for clients
- Solid understanding of Subledger Accounting and familiarity with accounting frameworks such as IFRS and indirect taxation (e.g., VAT) is advantageous
- Deep functional knowledge of General Ledger processes including journal entries, reversals, currency revaluation and translation, allocations, intercompany accounting, budgeting, period-end close, and financial reporting
- Experience in migrating master and transactional data from legacy systems into Oracle Fusion
- Good working knowledge of data migration tools and techniques including FBDI, ADFdi, Rapid Implementation Spreadsheets, and integrations (inbound/outbound interfaces) along with OTBI reporting
- Strong capability to convert business requirements into effective standard or customized Oracle solutions
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and stakeholder communication skills
- Experience supporting global clients across multiple geographies and business units
- Ability to create functional documentation such as test cases, training materials, and design specifications aligned with AIM methodology
- Experience raising and managing Oracle Service Requests (SRs) for product issues, including tracking through to resolution
- Oracle Fusion Financials certification is desirable
