Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the architectural direction for the Trips Business Unit.
- Collaborate with teams to craft architecture strategies and promote platform adoption.
- Support key verticals including Flights, Cars, Rides, Rail, Attractions, and Insurance.
- Influence infrastructure decisions impacting millions of travelers.
- Lead complex, multi-team projects in a dynamic environment.
Key Skills:
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and services.
- Proven expertise in designing and supporting distributed systems at scale.
- Ability to collaborate across multiple domains and technical teams.
- Strong influencing and advisory skills.
- Pragmatic approach to balancing technical solutions with delivery realities.
- Experience with front-end architecture strategy (nice to have).
- Knowledge of platform migration and integration processes (nice to have).
- Familiarity with AI tooling for productivity enhancement (nice to have).
- Understanding of the Booking.com platform framework and service orchestration (nice to have).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Several years of experience as a Solutions Architect or in a similar role.
