Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and deliver secure digital solutions in a highly secure environment.
- Develop and deploy cross-domain solutions while adhering to NCSC patterns and guidance.
- Assess market products that meet functional component requirements.
- Convey technical requirements for bespoke components to developers.
- Present complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Work across both hardware and software with a strong knowledge of cryptography and PKI.
- Develop solutions using secure by design methodology and data-centric security principles.
- Utilize experience with hardsec cross-domain appliances and cloud deployment automation.

We are currently looking for an experienced SC cleared Solution Architect to work for a client of ours who works in the defence and security arena. You will help design, build and deliver secure digital solutions in a highly secure environment and work alongside engineers, architects and delivery specialists to develop technology that enables faster, safer decision making for critical operations.
Developing and deploying cross domain solutions you will have a sounds understanding of the NCSC patterns and guidance for safely importing and exporting data and have the ability to assess the market for products which meet requirements of the functional components of the solution. You will convey the technical requirements for bespoke components required to developers and present complex technical information to non technical audiences. You will have worked across both hardware and software and have a strong knowledge of cryptography and PKI with experience of MOD systems and processes.
It would be good if you have experience of developing solutions in a secure by design methodology and of data centric security principles as well as having worked with hardsec cross domain appliances. Any experience with cloud deployment automation and networking would be a distinct advantage. This role will require you to be on site 3 days a week and will be outside IR35.
