Solution Architect - Investment Technology & Data (Banking Domain)

Summary: The Solution Architect role focuses on Investment Technology and Data within the banking domain, requiring a candidate with 12 to 15 years of experience in front office technology. The position demands expertise in SQL, data management, and familiarity with portfolio management processes. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in leading teams and delivering solutions while being willing to travel as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Minimum 12 years of experience in an implementation or product manager role for a leading front office technology, such as Blackrock Aladdin, Charles River IMS, Bloomberg AIM, Markit ThinkFolio, or FIS Front Arena.
• Proficiency in SQL and database management, including experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, & AWS.
• Expert Understanding of data modelling, data governance, and data quality management.
• Familiarity of portfolio management and trading processes in for asset managers/asset owners across equity, fixed income and listed derivative products.
• Specialist in two of the following areas (minimum 5 years' experience): Risk & Performance, Compliance & Regulation, Client Reporting, Non-listed Derivatives Management, Investment Operations & Settlements, Investment Vehicle Setup & Structuring, Investment Data Management.
• Deep experience of leading small to medium-sized teams in an implementation/consulting environment.
• Willingness to travel when required.
