Solution Architect (Infrastructure & Transformation)

6-Month Contract | SC Cleared | Hybrid (50% Onsite, London)

We're partnering with a leading UK financial institution on a major infrastructure transformation programme and are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join on an initial 6-month contract.

You'll be responsible for designing and governing infrastructure solutions across complex transition and transformation initiatives, including data centre migrations, service transitions and operational readiness activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver architecture solutions supporting large-scale infrastructure change programmes.
• Lead technical discovery activities and define current and target-state environments.
• Provide technical oversight for data centre migration and transformation projects.
• Identify and manage technical risks, issues, dependencies and escalations.
• Coordinate technical implementation activities across internal teams and suppliers.
• Support transition planning, operational readiness and Legacy service decommissioning.
• Provide guidance on secure infrastructure and DMZ architecture.

Experience Required

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Infrastructure Architect within complex enterprise environments.
• Strong background in infrastructure transformation, transition and migration programmes.
• Experience with data centre migrations and multi-supplier environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and architecture governance skills.
• Experience working within Agile and/or Waterfall delivery environments.
