Solution Architect
Summary: The role of Solution Architect involves defining, owning, and evolving the end-to-end domain architecture with hands-on implementation experience. The position requires expertise in various architectural frameworks and cloud platforms, particularly AWS and GCP. The contract is initially for 6 months and operates under an inside IR35 classification. The working model is hybrid, requiring three days in the office weekly in West London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and evolve end-to-end domain architecture.
- Implement event-driven architecture at scale using Kafka, Pub/Sub, SNS/SQS.
- Design API-led solutions using REST and/or gRPC.
- Utilize distributed data stores, focusing on operational and non-relational stores.
- Work with cloud platforms, primarily AWS and some GCP.
- Design data pipelines that feed ML models.
- Familiarity with ML platforms.
- Conduct real-time stream processing for data enrichment.
Key Skills:
- Experience with event-driven architecture at scale.
- Proficiency in API-led design (REST and/or gRPC).
- Knowledge of distributed data stores.
- Cloud platform experience, especially AWS and GCP.
- Ability to design ML model input pipelines.
- Familiarity with ML platforms.
- Experience in streaming data enrichment and real-time processing.
Salary (Rate): £575 daily

* Cloud platforms - AWS experience with ideally some GCP. Azure-only profiles are not suitable
* Designing pipelines that feed ML models - data flows whose output is model input, not dashboards or reports
* ML platform familiarity
* Streaming data enrichment -Real Time stream processing for aggregation and enrichment
The contract is inside IR35 for 6 months initially. The role is based on a hybrid working model requiring three days in the office in West London on a weekly basis.
