Summary: The Technical Lead/Solution Architect role in London involves driving end-to-end architecture for various initiatives, focusing on secure and scalable cloud solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Solution Design: Produce and own end-to-end architecture, translating high-level concepts into actionable detailed designs.
- Champion Application Security: Define robust security requirements including OAuth 2.0, SSO, authentication, API security, and proactive threat modelling.
- Lead Agile Teams: Provide hands-on technical leadership throughout the sprint process, removing technical impediments and guiding CI/CD maturity.
- Innovate with AI: Identify and evaluate opportunities to embed Generative AI, LLMs, and multi-agent systems into products.
- Set the Standard: Assess and implement new technologies and off-the-shelf systems, ensuring alignment with global technology framework and principles.
Key Skills:
- Experience: 3+ years as a Solutions Architect or Technical Lead working within Agile frameworks.
- Cloud & Infrastructure: Proven experience with Cloud platforms (AWS & Azure), serverless deployments, and containerization optimization.
- Architecture & APIs: Strong background in REST APIs, API integration, and event-driven architecture.
- Security Expertise: Deep understanding of application security, access control, Single Sign-On (SSO), OAuth 2.0, threat modelling, and Microsoft Entra ID.
- DevOps & Data: Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline build tools, Git version control, Jira/Confluence, SQL databases, and Data Warehouses.
- AI Acumen: A solid understanding of the broader AI ecosystem, including prompt engineering and LLMs.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in Financial Services or Insurance is highly desirable.

The OpportunityAre you an architectural visionary who thrives at the intersection of high-level strategy and hands-on technical leadership?
We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead/Solution Architect to drive end-to-end architecture for a diverse portfolio of initiatives. In this role, you will be the technical anchor for global development teams, designing secure, scalable cloud solutions while actively integrating emerging technologies like Generative AI and multi-agent systems to solve real business challenges.
Whether you are unblocking Agile teams, presenting to the Architecture Review Board, or mapping out robust threat models, your expertise will directly shape our strategic target-state vision.
What You Will Do- Drive Solution Design: Produce and own end-to-end architecture, translating high-level concepts into actionable detailed designs. You will document, present, and secure approval for your designs at the Architecture Review Board.
- Champion Application Security: Define robust security requirements including OAuth 2.0, SSO, authentication, API security, and proactive threat modelling.
- Lead Agile Teams: Provide hands-on technical leadership throughout the sprint process. You will remove technical impediments, guide CI/CD maturity, conduct code reviews, and act as a bridge between developers, analysts, and product owners.
- Innovate with AI: Identify and evaluate opportunities to embed Generative AI, LLMs, and multi-agent systems into our products to drive operational efficiency.
- Set the Standard: Assess and implement new technologies and off-the-shelf systems, ensuring alignment with our global technology framework and principles.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: 3+ years as a Solutions Architect or Technical Lead working within Agile frameworks.
- Cloud & Infrastructure: Proven experience with Cloud platforms (AWS & Azure), serverless deployments, and containerization optimization. Experience executing cloud migrations.
- Architecture & APIs: Strong background in REST APIs, API integration, and event-driven architecture. Comfortable using architecture modelling techniques (UML, C4).
