Summary: The role of Solution Architect focuses on developing and implementing a comprehensive Disaster Recovery (DR) strategy within a fast-paced program. The position requires collaboration with key stakeholders and the Programme Manager to assess current capabilities and design a roadmap for improvement. This is a 6-month contract opportunity that operates under inside IR35 regulations and requires a hybrid working arrangement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DR, particularly with Microsoft Azure and VMware.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing current Disaster Recovery capabilities and identifying gaps
- Designing and delivering a comprehensive DR roadmap
- Collaborating closely with the Programme Manager and key stakeholders
- Supporting the selection and implementation of a third-party vendor
- Driving best practices across DR architecture and solution design
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in Disaster Recovery design and implementation
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure and VMware
- Ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on levels
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- MS Dynamics experience is a bonus (but not essential)
