Summary: Lead Solution Architect role in a large FTSE100 logistics organization, focusing on delivering technical projects through the full delivery life cycle. The position requires experience in a FTSE100 IT department with established governance processes. The role emphasizes application architecture and integration architecture in multi-vendor environments. This is a contract position classified as inside IR35 with hybrid working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of business solutions to internal and external customers through application architecture.
- Design enterprise website architectures in both B2B and B2C contexts.
- Develop complex REST-based integration architectures to support business solutions.
- Work effectively in multi-vendor environments.
- Oversee the full life cycle as a System Integrator Architect.
- Develop end-to-end architecture solutions, including logical and physical application views.
- Provide an overview of service/support models.
- Integrate IOT/IT solutions as needed.
Key Skills:
- Experience in application architecture and integration architecture.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Ability to work in multi-vendor environments.
- Experience with REST-based integration.

Solution Architect - Application Architecture/SDLC/Azure/C#/IAAS - CONTRACT
Lead Solution Architect role working in a large FTSE100 logistics organisation. Experience of delivering a mix of technical projects through the full delivery life cycle, operating in a programme of work with associated governance. Experience of operating in a FTSE100 IT department with accompanying governance and processes that a mandated as part of the project delivery framework.
Technical experience should include:
- Application architecture, leading the delivery of business solutions to internal and external customers
- Enterprise website architectures, both B2B, and B2C contexts
- Integration architecture including design, build and test of complex REST-based integration architectures in support of business solutions
- Experience of working in multi-vendor environments is also essential
- Integration to Delivery. Full life cycle System Integrator Architect position
- Ideally with software development life cycle experience
- Develops end to end architecture solutions including: Logical and physical application views
- Service/support model overview ideal
- Experience of IOT/IT integration would be beneficial
