Role Overview
Job Title: Enterprise Solution Architect
Department: Architecture & Technology
Purpose: To design, govern, and assure complex enterprise solutions across cloud, infrastructure, integration, and security domains, ensuring technical alignment with organisational strategy and high standards of service delivery.
Person Specification
1. Qualifications
Essential: TOGAF or equivalent architecture qualification.
Desirable: Additional cloud or technology architecture certifications.
2. Knowledge
Essential: Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture, cloud, infrastructure, integration, and security landscapes.
Desirable: Knowledge of healthcare technology environments and related digital systems.
3. Technical & Work-Based Skills
Essential: Solution architecture, technical design, architecture governance, and assurance practices.
Desirable: Experience designing solutions across complex multi-vendor estates.
4. General Skills & Attributes
Essential: Excellent stakeholder engagement, governance, communication, and decision-making skills.
Desirable: Proven ability to effectively engage and influence senior technical and business stakeholders.
5. Experience
Essential: Demonstrable experience designing complex enterprise-grade solutions.
Desirable: Background or previous experience within the healthcare or public sector.
