Key Responsibilities:
- Install and oversee Commercial and Domestic Solar PV systems
- Ensure proper placement of array and installation of mounting kit to manufacturer specifications
- Ensure MC4 connectors are correctly installed
- Test and troubleshoot strings safely, ready for client handover
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines throughout the installation process
- Manage and lead on-site operatives
- Liaise with the project manager
Key Skills:
- Experience installing and running Solar PV systems on commercial and domestic properties
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and wiring
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong communication skills to instruct team members and liaise with clients

- Excellent customer service skills
- CSCS card is a minimum requirement

We also provide re:roofing services for domestic customers in the West Yorkshire area. We are expanding and are now looking for an experienced Solar PV Roofer to join our team and help deliver exceptional projects nationwide. You will be responsible for managing installations and supervising on:site operatives.
Your Responsibilities But Not Limited To
- Install and oversee Commercial and Domestic Solar PV systems
- Ensure proper placement of array and ensure mounting kit is installed to manufacturer specification.
- Ensure mc4 connectors are correctly installed.
- Test and troubleshoot strings in a safe manner, ready to hand over to the client.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines throughout the installation process
- Managing and leading on site operatives
- Liaising with project manager
Ideal Candidate
- Experience installing and running Solar PV systems on commercial and domestic properties, full competency from start of install to finish.
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Excellent problem:solving skills and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and wiring.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication skills and ability instruct other members of the team, liaise with clients and project manager effectively.
Application Requirements
- Full UK driving license : Our team travels from Brighouse, West Yorkshire each morning or at the beginning of the week and it would be beneficial if applicants live in the local area or have their own transport mileage paid at 45p per mile.
- Must live locally to West Yorkshire
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in solar PV installation.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- CSCS card is a minimum requirement, other required training courses can be provided
