Summary: As a Software Vehicle Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for integrating, testing, and refining software for advanced driver assistance features. This role involves hands-on work with embedded systems and collaboration with global teams to enhance driving experiences. You will lead technical issue resolution and support cross-functional teams in delivering reliable software solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in validating features through real-world vehicle trials and system testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the integration of new software into embedded ECUs and full vehicle environments, ensuring smooth bring-up and functionality
  • Validate customer-facing features through end-to-end system testing and real-world vehicle trials
  • Act as the technical lead for issue resolution, using triage, root cause analysis, and hands-on debugging to solve complex software and system problems
  • Implement software fixes and enhancements directly within the software stack to improve performance and reliability
  • Support cross-functional teams by investigating software issues and providing expert-level technical insight
  • Collaborate with architects and subject matter experts to align integration efforts with system-level design and long-term platform goals

Key Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, or related field
  • Proficiency with automotive tools and platforms, including Vector tools: CANoe, CANalyzer, CAPL scripting, and AUTOSAR architectures, BSW integration, RTE understanding
  • Communication Protocols: CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Automotive Ethernet
  • Experience with ECU flashing, configuration management, debugging and Log analysis
  • Exposure to Body Systems (Lighting, Doors, Windows, Seats, HVAC, etc.)
  • Experience with HIL rigs or vehicle validation
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lead and work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication and leadership skills

This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll work across embedded systems, vehicle platforms, and global teams to bring new features to life. From debugging in real vehicles to collaborating with architects and engineers across the business, you’ll play a key role in delivering safe, intelligent, and seamless driving experiences. You will support the team in case of critical technical delivery issues in your product group/domain.
