Summary: The Software Tester role involves ensuring the quality and performance of a SaaS platform by designing, executing, and maintaining tests. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead testing effort for a ReactJS Single Page Application (SPA) with an API-driven .NET and SQL Server backend.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for front-end (ReactJS SPA) and back-end (.NET/SQL) components.
  • Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing on the application and APIs.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
  • Collaborate with developers and product owners to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
  • Validate API functionality using tools like Postman or Swagger.
  • Conduct database testing to verify data integrity and SQL query performance.
  • Contribute to test automation efforts using frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
  • Ensure cross-browser and device compatibility for the SPA.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups).

Key Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in software testing, ideally with web applications.
