Summary: The Senior Software Tester role involves supporting a UK financial services organization in developing new front-office systems through both automated and manual testing. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform end-to-end manual and automated testing across new front-office platforms
- Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts
- Execute API and UI testing to ensure system reliability and performance
- Collaborate closely with developers, BAs, and product teams to identify defects early
- Contribute to test strategy, planning, and continuous improvement of QA practices
- Work within Azure DevOps to manage test cases, defects, and delivery workflows
Key Skills:
- Proven experience testing complex software systems in delivery environments
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and/or Selenium
- Development experience using C# or TypeScript
- Solid background in API and UI testing
- Experience working with Azure DevOps
- Naturally curious with a strong testing mindset and attention to detail
- Comfortable managing complexity and working across multiple system components

As part of this programme, they are looking to engage an experienced Senior Software Tester to support both automated and manual testing across complex, business-critical applications. This is a hands-on contract role suited to someone who enjoys working in delivery-focused teams and thrives in technically complex environments.
Role & Responsibilities:
