Software Test Engineer

Summary: The Software Test Engineer will work within a scrum team in an agile environment, focusing on testing software solutions in the Satellite Communications Domain. The role requires expertise in test automation technologies such as Java, Selenium, and Cucumber, as well as the ability to conduct independent exploratory testing. The Engineer will contribute to all stages of the software development life cycle and generate documentation in line with project standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verifying and validating code quality for new products using agile methodology.
• Designing, implementing, and testing features for new product development.
• Estimating tasks in accordance with sprint planning.
• Producing tests within an agile environment using GIT and Jira.
• Conducting manual and automated testing using Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, Java, and Postman.
• Defining test cases and running test phases throughout the development process.
• Interpreting Model Based System Engineering Diagrams.
• Supporting Test Readiness Boards and Test Reviews as guided by the Test Lead.
• Completing test phases independently and within a team environment.

Key Skills:
