Summary: We are looking for a Senior Test Engineer with expertise in Tricentis Tosca to support a complex system migration project in London. The candidate should be proactive, hands-on, and possess strong communication skills to guide QA and development teams throughout the testing lifecycle. This role involves leading testing activities, defining testing strategies, and collaborating closely with developers. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of IT experience in software testing and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead functional, regression, and automation testing activities across the project.
- Contribute to defining and implementing the overall testing strategy.
- Prepare and maintain detailed testing documentation, including test plans, test cases, execution reports, and defect logs.
- Provide technical recommendations and testing best practices during the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with developers to support debugging, issue analysis, and root cause identification.
- Ensure the quality and stability of applications during system migration and releases.
Key Skills:
- Minimum 7 years of IT experience, with a strong background in software testing and quality assurance.
- Strong experience in test automation, including tools such as Selenium, API automation, or similar frameworks.
- Experience with Tricentis Tosca is an advantage.
- Hands-on experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber and understanding of Test-Driven Development.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with Business Analysts, Project Managers, Developers, Stakeholders, and Vendor teams.
- Strong documentation skills and the ability to produce well-structured test artefacts.
- Ability to work independently and mentor junior testers when required.
- Preferred / Added Advantage: Experience working with Microsoft Azure or other cloud environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps.
- Basic knowledge of Non-Functional Testing (NFT), including performance, security, and reliability testing.
