We're looking for a Software Test Engineer to join a growing test team working on a market leading medical device. This is a hands-on software testing role combining Python test automation with manual testing. The ideal person can do Python test automation, and is happy to pick up manual testing when automation isn't possible - including GUI testing on the device itself. That said, the hiring manager will also consider pure Python test automation engineers, and pure manual test engineers with embedded software or device testing experience - the task work can be managed to suit your strengths.

- Proven software test experience with embedded software or a physical device (mobile/device testing works well - pure web testing less so)
- Python test automation skills, manual testing skills, or ideally both
- Experience in a regulated or safety-critical sector - medical, automotive, aerospace, defence, finance, oil & gas
- Comfortable being onsite in Motherwell 3 days per week (some flexibility on how, e.g. week on/week off)
