Software Test Engineer required for an initial 12-month Outside IR35 contract. Software testing must align with the Quality and Project Plan, agile practices, and general industry best practise. You will be responsible for the analysis of requirements, detailed test case design, execution, regression, and raise discrepancies for our clients’ products. Project is to deliver multiple software releases during 2026 and 2027. SERVICES Analyse the requirements, estimate them. Converting system requirements into test cases. System testing of software components. Participating in Agile ceremonies. Collaborating with a cross functional Agile team to implement and support a software project. Use of Microsoft Teams as video call tool. DELIVERABLES Analyse technical concepts to plan and design tests Support the delivery of approved Test Plans when required Design, log and execute test cases for all assigned technical concepts or ideas and share specific measurements where required Design, log and execute manual tests for the manual regression test suite Write and execute automated test scripts for any required automated regression test suite Use hardware and firmware test rigs to test all ideas and concepts. Conduct System and subsystem integration testing on integrated hardware and software systems Log & report errors and issues when found Retest fixed errors and issues Where required deliver a live test status dashboard, test metrics, test results, and the final test summary report NEED TO HAVE Minimum 5+ years’ experience in the software development arena.
