Summary: The Software Licensing Specialist/Manager will play a crucial role in a large Datacentre migration programme, focusing on various software licenses and technologies. This position requires expertise in licensing for Azure, IBM, Oracle, Microsoft, and Adobe, among others. The role is hybrid, requiring occasional office presence in Warwickshire, and is offered as a 6-month contract. The position is classified as inside IR35, with a competitive daily rate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage software licensing for a variety of technologies including Azure, IBM, Oracle, Microsoft, and Adobe.
- Oversee the Datacentre migration programme and ensure compliance with licensing terms.
- Conduct negotiations and renewals for software licenses.
- Provide expertise in Software Asset Management (SAM) and software audits.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to assess licensing needs and configurations.
Key Skills:
- Experience with Azure licensing and services.
- Knowledge of IBM licensing, including ILMT and MDM.
- Understanding of Oracle Java and database licensing terms.
- Familiarity with Microsoft licensing, including Dynamics and Office.
- Experience with Adobe licensing and online service terms.
- Commercial and forensic experience in a software audit environment.

Location – Hybrid remote / Warwickshire (in the office approx. 2-3 times a month) 6 month contract £500 – 800 per day Inside IR35 The role is working on a large Datacentre migration programme will span across a variety of licenses / software. You will need experience in as many of the area’s listed below (you do not need to have experience in all the technologies/software): Azure experience to include OST, SQL, Windows, PaaS, ACM, Azure advisor, tagging, AHUB, RI, Savings Plans, blob storage etc at hands on level IBM licensing experience to include ILMT bundling and configuration, MDM, Filenet and IBM specific terms and conditions Oracle Java and DB licensing terms Microsoft wider licensing experience to include Dynamics, Office, Power Platform, including bundling and capacity considerations Adobe licensing and online service terms Generally, commercial/forensics experience in a SW audit environment
