Software Engineering Intern

At Lunar Energy, we're on a mission to transform the way we power our homes by building an ecosystem of all-electric products, starting with a next-generation home battery system and a cloud PaaS to manage large fleets of DER assets. Comprising a team of visionary entrepreneurs and dedicated technology and industry experts, we're united by our shared vision of deploying and building products to electrify homes that are connected through an integrated software platform.

We are looking for an Intern to support our passionate software team. This is a unique opportunity for an individual to join our small, focused and collaborative team of talented developers.

A few examples of your tasks

• Collaborating with fellow software developers to gain hands-on experience
• Assisting senior team members with software development projects
• Working independently to deliver self-contained non-functional requirements
• Receiving constructive feedback from experienced developers and iterating on your pull requests accordingly

What We Are Looking For

• Analytical and problem-solving skills gained as part of formal education in a technical area such as computer science, physics, mathematics, etc
• Experience in software development, either professional or academic (Python or Typescript are recommended but not mandatory)
• Good communication and technical documentation abilities
• Proactive mindset, taking ownership of work and consistently maintaining high standards
• Reliable and collaborative, fostering a culture of trust and teamwork

Duration: 3 months internship (potential to extend)

Location: You will work from our office near London Liverpool Street (E1)

Start date: as soon as possible
