Summary: The role of ServiceNow IRM Consultant involves gathering business requirements, designing processes, and configuring the ServiceNow IRM platform to align with client needs. The consultant will act as a Business Analyst, create technical design documents, and contribute to deployment strategies while demonstrating IRM and SecOps solutions during client engagements. Hands-on experience with key IRM modules and understanding of Advanced Risk Management principles are essential for this position. Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather business requirements and design processes for the ServiceNow IRM platform.
  • Act as a ServiceNow IRM Business Analyst in client engagements.
  • Create high-level and low-level technical design documents.
  • Contribute to architectural planning and deployment strategies.
  • Demonstrate IRM and Security Operations solutions during client presentations.
  • Assess existing IRM processes for automation and maturity enhancement opportunities.
  • Develop and execute test plans; support User Acceptance Testing and production deployment activities.
  • Manage GRC user stories within agile teams and lead sprint planning and iteration reviews.
  • Understand and interpret Observables and Indicators of Compromise within the IRM/SecOps context.

Key Skills:

  • Certified ServiceNow IRM/SecOps Administrator or Consultant.
  • Minimum one full lifecycle implementation of ServiceNow IRM and/or SecOps.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, APIs, and Web Services.
  • Working knowledge of Vulnerability Management processes and related tools.
  • Familiarity with relevant security and risk frameworks or certifications such as ISO 27001, CISA, CISM, CISSP, or CRISC.

Job Description:

  • Gather business requirements, design processes, and configure/customize the ServiceNow IRM platform to meet client needs.
  • Act as a ServiceNow IRM Business Analyst in client engagements, ensuring alignment between business goals and platform capabilities.
  • Create high-level and low-level technical design documents and contribute to architectural planning and deployment strategies.
  • Demonstrate IRM and Security Operations (SecOps) solutions as required during client presentations or solution workshops.
  • Possess hands-on experience across key IRM modules such as Policy Management, Compliance & Audit Management, Vendor Risk Management, Business Continuity Management, Vulnerability Response, Incident Response, and Security Dashboards.
  • Assess existing (as-is) IRM processes for automation and maturity enhancement opportunities within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Understand and apply Advanced Risk Management and Continuous Control Monitoring principles.
  • Develop and execute test plans; support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production deployment activities.
  • Manage GRC user stories within agile teams, and lead sprint planning and iteration reviews from a delivery perspective.
  • Understand and interpret Observables, Indicators of Compromise (IoCs), and perform IoC lookups within the IRM/SecOps context.

(Preferred) Experience in configuring and implementing ServiceNow GRC modules, including hands-on with plugins, workflows, UI elements, tables, dictionaries, integrations, and platform dependencies.

Proficient in ServiceNow scripting and automation using JavaScript.
